I have been teaching in ECE for 14+ years. I have previously worked in Education within the Special Needs sector.   I am a qualified and fully registered early childhood teacher. 
I believe we all have our own special characteristics, beliefs and values and that teaching children to accept diversity will make them a valued member of society.
I believe children should be viewed as thinkers, reflecting about their world. That children’s play is purposeful when they learn through the process of their efforts.  Children gain knowledge by building on a path of ever-increasing knowledge. That children should be encouraged to make choices and practice individual decision-making.
